At VR Karbala, we are using virtual realit (VR) to revive the message of Imam Hussain (as) by creating a new and unique user experience to relive the events of Karbala.
Through VR -Karbala, users will travel back to the 10th of Muharram to relive the tragedy of Karbala.
VR Karbala is an independent non-profit organization and all our content is freely available.
Therefore, our work and production depend on the donations we receive from our loyal supporters and donors.

Our goal is to revive Islamic history through the use of cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and AI.
We started our journey by recreating the scenes of Karbala and enabling millions of people to travel back in time and experience the day of Ashura as if they were in Karbala themselves.
To date, we have completed 5 VR productions, 4 animation productions, events in more than 27+ countries and more than 50 million views worldwide.

Viewing the VR Karbala H. Abbas (a) scene was extremely touching! From what I had read on social media and on their website, I didn’t know what to expect or how the experience would be. Now, I can truly say that it has exceeded my expectations.
The part that touched me the most about this was that each aspect was so detailed and vivid. The world is changing and it is hard to imagine how the Day of Ashura took place as we forget amidst modern day advances that there was a lot we have today that wasn’t around 1400 years ago. This experience puts us, the Azadar of Imam Husayn (a), in touch with a part of our history that is the very essence of our existance as Shi’a Muslims.
I would recommend individuals to not only view the demo, but to subscribe in supporting this cause. Whilst it may seem like a better option to purchase the available scene outright, I urge people to subscribe monthly to this great cause to fund the development of more scenes.
I cannot wait to see more of VR Karbala.
